Learn how to plan and implement a safe system of work as an Individual Working Alone (IWA). Training covers procedures for arranging line blockages, how to work when running lines remain open to traffic and the requirements for an IWA working within a possession. Upon completion of the initial training, candidates will be required to complete a log book each time they complete IWA duties.

Audience

For anyone who routinely carries out work on or near the line on their own and also for anyone requiring Auxiliary Operating Duty (AOD) competences including Handsignaller, Level Crossing Attendant and Points Operator.
